Mission Statement
Summerland Cavy Rescue is a non-profit, volunter run rescue dedicated to the rescue and adoption of abandoned, neglected and abused guinea pigs in the Sheppey and beyond. We offer a home for life to any guinea pig that enters our rescue when a suitable permanent home is unavailable.
Our rescue hopes to provide advice, support to future and current guinea pig owners so as to encourage a lifelong commitment to those animals. When this is not possible, the rescue will, when resources allow, assist in the placement of any guinea pig into other suitable accommodation.
No animal will be euthanised unless it is a question of quality of life.
